Guess who came to dinner?

A ghost from Salman Khan’s past apparently popped up at his 43rd birthday party.

Salman’s ex-girlfriend, Sangeeta Bijlani eclipsed the presence of Mallika Sherawat and Asin. Interestingly, Sangeeta’s husband, ex-cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin, was nowhere to be seen at the event. But, if people expected sparks to fly, they were disappointed.

The politically-correct Sangeeta wished him and then promptly mingled with other guests at the party. Reveals our source close to Salman, “Sangeeta and Salman were cordial with each other. The two met at such a personal affair after a long gap. They exchanged pleasantries at the music launch of Sallu’s film Hello. That was of course, a professional event. Here, the two shared a special moment.”

It hardly needs to be recalled that Salman and Sangeeta were quite a couple in the 1990s, when Sallu was making his mark as an actor. Later with the arrival of Somy Ali in Salman’s life, Sangeeta opted out. Or so it seems. We wonder if we’ll get to see Somy at the next event Salman hosts.

King Khan to rule television!

Films, cricket, events and now TV production, King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan is spreading his wings further by producing television shows for channels.

Shah Rukh Khan's company Red Chillies Entertainment will produce a comedy show Ghar ke Baat, for NDTV Imagine.

The show may start as early as January 2009. Red Chilles is also set to produce a chat show, which may air from March.

According to the reports actor Akshay Kumar is also interested in Television programming. First an animation film and now interest in TV shows. It seems Akshay is walking on Shah Rukh Khan's footsteps?
