Churu remains coldest in Rajasthan

Cold wave conditions continued unabated in Rajasthan with Churu being the coldest place in the state with minimum temperature touching a low of 2 degrees Celsius.

Ganganagar and Mount Abu shivered at 3.3 and 5.0 degree Celsius respectively.

Apart from these places, minimum temperature recorded at Bikaner was 5.1 degrees Celsius, 6 degrees Celsius at Sikar and 7.6 degrees Celsius at Bundi.

Jaipur recorded a low of 8.1 degrees Celsius, Jaisalmer was at 8.3 degrees Celsius, while Barmer and Sawaimadhopur were both at 9.5 degree Celsius.

In Ajmer, the minimum temperature remained 10.4 degrees Celsius, Jalore was at 10.6 degrees Celsius, Jodhpur recorded a minimum of 11.2 degrees Celsius and Kota remained at 12.4 degrees Celsius.

Cold wave may cause a dip in mercury in north Rajasthan, while weather would be dry in the southern part of the state, MET department said
