National Govt creates post for join secretary in Dept of Pharma New Delhi (PTI): The government on Thursday said it has created a post for joint secretary in the Department of Pharmaceuticals under the aegis of Chemical and Fertiliser Ministry. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs today decided to appoint a joint secretary in the Department of Pharmaceuticals. "In order to enable the Department to cope with increased work, one post of Joint Secretary has been created in the Department of Pharmaceuticals," Home Minister P Chidambaram told reporters after the meeting. This will facilitate the department to impart greater focus on existing as well as additional work alloted, Chidambaram said. The Department of Pharmaceuticals was constituted in July last year to provide greater focus on the promotion of pharmaceuticals sector. National
